Usage

A deeply nourishing conditioner, lovingly creamy and caring for hair. I like the professional styling of this range the lid on the bottom does make it very easy to differentiate between the shampoo and other products in the range. The scent is very similar to the pre-shampoo and shampoo, but doesn't seem as strong however once washed out the scent does linger leaving your hair smelling very fresh and clean. The thick rich formula feels very repairing to my hair which has been heat damaged from using a hair straightener and blow dryer. After using my hair was noticeably softer, smoother, and felt healthier. Once dried my hair was also shinier and less frizzy.

Easy to use

This product has really helped to revive my damaged hair. After using for a few weeks my hair already feels stronger, smoother and a lot healthier. It's much more manageable and there is less hair on my hairbrush now. My hair is very long, goes all the way to my bottom. When I brushed it before, it felt like I was stretching my hair and it would sometimes snap. This product has really helped to stop all of that and make my hair feel a lot stronger. When I use all of the Elvive Bond Repair products together it feels like I've just come from a salon. I feel pampered and rejuvenated. I would definitely recommend using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After over a decade of bleaching my very long hair it’s not in perfect condition especially at the ends. Although it’s in really good condition it’s still feeling a little like it needs some extra care. I was really pleased when I saw this shampoo and conditioner and couldn’t wait to try it. My hair definitely feels stronger and moisturised without looking or feeling lank or that there’s too much excess product on it. I’ll definitely be sticking with this duo. Both the shampoo and conditioner look really rich and smell gorgeous which is something that is important to me. It rinsed out easily too. Really great products!

Super soft, silky, glossy locks

Great coverage of the hair smoothed all over after previously washing using L'Oreal Elvive Bond Repair shampoo, my hair felt super smooth while using it and once rinsed off. I let my hair dry naturally, I have naturally wavy, frizzy shoulder length hair that I dye at home myself. It felt super silky and soft and was not heavy so did not weigh down the natural waves which often happens with heavy conditioners. It looks very glossy and shiny and feels so soft, like baby's hair, not frizzy at all - all this after one wash! amazing

The conditioner was thicker and more concentrated than any I've used before. I might have used too much the first time, though I felt it being absorbed by my hair very quickly. On the second use, I was more sparing, and had the same reaction: the conditioner quickly soaked into the hair and started working. Be careful after rinsing, as the residue can make the floor of the shower slippery.
There was a noticeable improvement in my hair's quality in the following days after the full treatment: less flyaway, no new split ends, and even a slight shade lighter than before. I felt like a millionaire after using these products, pampered as though with a full salon treatment.

I loved the way this conditioner felt through my hair. It wasn't thick and gloopy, but made my hair feel glossy and it spread well. The scent was clean and fresh but didn't make me sneeze and wasn't overwhelming.
Used as a whole product line I have noticed a difference in my hair. Being a new Mum it's put up most of the day and I was finding the ends went dry and frizzy where my last colour was growing out. Since using this product I have notice my ends are smoother, and less tangled. My whole hair has a better shine and brushes easier. Even my partner noticed that it was smelling great and feeling nicer!

Hair strengthener in a bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this straight after the bond repair shampoo and it smells great. It feels luxurious on your hair and you only need a small amount. It helps strengthen colour damaged and broken hair and the brush glided through my hair afterwards. It didn’t weigh my hair down and it felt light and silky. My hair stayed styled all day without my usual frizz from the damaged parts of my hair. I’m looking forward to seeing even more results in the coming months as this formula is meant to strengthen broken hair, it also smells lovely. I went to order more for my daughters and it’s already sold out in one high street chain

Luxuriously thick and creamy

I tried this conditioner as part of the whole Elvive Bond Repair range and I was not disappointed. The conditioner was thicker than usually and after a couple uses I started applying less as I realised the bottle is smaller than the shampoo (and I usually finish any conditioner before the shampoo). I guess it must be more concentrated than regular conditioners but it doesn't explain that. It does get absorbed very quickly and once you massage through roots and ends your hair does feel smooth even after rinsing out. I do like the luxuriously thick formula and the way it left my hair frizz free after drying.

AMAZING!

I didn't have high hopes for the product, honestly. I usually use hair products suggested by my hairstylist - I've even dished out the moolah for k18, which I thought was O.K.
However, this product exceeded my expectations substantially.
I really liked this conditioner! Not only did it have a beautiful smell but it made my hair feel silky soft. I just love it! I don't think I'll go back to my old conditioners.
Using this product along with the range made my hair significantly less frizzy (I'm usually looking like Hagrid from Harry Potter, to give you a visual) and made my curls look beautiful. I would highly recommend this range to anyone with damaged hair looking to repair it.

Why the price difference?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was invited to try this conditioner, along with the matching shampoo, but unfortunately, it was lost in the post. As I love L'Oreal products, I decided to take advantage of a well-known store's 3for2 offer and buy both products.
As with all L'Oreal hair products, I was more than happy with the results. As usual, my hair appeared smooth, shiny and super-conditioned. However, this range is quite a bit more expensive and I did not feel that it performed any better than the cheaper ones, which is why I only awarded 4 stars. It's still an excellent conditioner but I could not justify the price difference.

Expected dramatic results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is in good condition and I don’t often use heat, so for someone who does, maybe the results would differ? I only used the shampoo and conditioner together, so again, maybe better results had I used the pre-shampoo too?
The texture is more like a lotion, it’s thick and I found I needed a lot for my long hair. It does lather nice. The smell is nice (like a skin lotion) but not something I like on my hair.
Having used this product three times so far, I haven’t noticed any difference. I recommend Elvive anti-breakage strengthening range in the orange bottles; far superior and cost less.

I used this conditioner along with the shampoo and was really impressed with how healthy, shiny and smooth it left my hair!
I had comments from lots of people..even my partner!
The conditioner is a lovely light and creamy texture, it doesn’t weigh down the hair and washes out easily. I absolutely love the fragrance, it is gorgeous and long lasting. I have already bought more of this product, and shampoo, on offer. It is more expensive than other Elvive ranges but totally worth it!

Another Break Through.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOreal new Bond Repair Conditioner. Unfortunately I didn't have the Bond Rescue Pre-Shampoo so used L'Oréal Elvive Anti-Breakage Strengthening Shampoo for weakened hair.
The new Bond Repair Conditioner is for all types of damaged hair. It has 10% Bond repair complex with Citric Acid which targets damaged hair. The tube is very easy to handle especially in the shower. It left my hair very solf and easy to brush while using the hair dryer. Like any other product I think i need to use this product for longer and with the Bond Rescue Pre-Shampoo as recommended on the back of the tube.

Lightweight conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this conditioner to be quite lightweight and not luxuriously creamy so I needed more than I would normally use to cover my shoulder length, fine, coloured, type 3B hair, which will soon use up this smaller 150ml tube. Having said that I did feel that, over time, less may be needed as my hair reaps the benefits with regular use. I didn't notice the fragrance as being so strong as the shampoo and on rinsing out (I never fully rinse out conditioner) my hair did feel quite smooth and soft but not as much as I'd hoped and the ends did frizz later in the morning despite my usual leave in treatments. Having said that I will continue using the full range with confidence that my hair strength will improve.

I liked the sound of bond repair, but maybe I’m a glutton for science sounding blurb, but this actually works!
After shampooing I applied the conditioner which was nice and creamy. Smelt lovely. Initially I was disappointed as hair still felt dry. After leaving on for 3 minutes I then washed it out. And immediately felt the difference.
Whilst styling the frizz was noticeably less and time required straightening was reduced. Hair feels lush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely creamy conditioning cream that was easy to dispense and apply to the hair. Only a small blob was sufficient to cover my hair. After three mins it rinsed out of my hair quickly leaving g no residue. There was a very slight fragrance which was pleasant. Once dried my hair felt soft and smooth and looked in good condition. This was after one use so I was pleased straight away with the conditioner ( which I used after washing my hair with the complementary shampoo) I am sure that with continued use my hair will be stronger and looking even more healthy. Pleased so far.

Conditioner or cream?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner has taken me by a surprise by its texture. Its not your normal conditioner mask type of texture, it feels more like a cream.... I had to look at the tube again just in case I wasn't putting a day cream on my hair lol. Yes it was conditioner!! I have used it in combination after Bond Repair Shampoo, which I think they complimented each other nicely. This conditioner has a lovely fragrance and when my hair dried, it felt lovely and bouncy. I have a medium long wavy hair and it felt very natural. All in all I am happy with the final result.

Lush smell & left hair super soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner smells lush and it has left my hair feeling really soft, but I did have to use quite a lot of conditioner on my long hair so I am not sure this would be very good value for money. My hair has been in need of some tlc recently so this was a welcome addition to my routine - but I think I will treat it as an intensive hair treatment mask, rather than a daily conditioner. I have not had the opportunity to use this for very long, but I do worry it will build up on my hair over time. Hopefully occasional use would prevent such issues.

It makes no difference how much I trim them , they never seem to be any better. I was very sceptical about this bond repair conditioner. My hair is now in recovery! From the first use it seems so much stronger and also glossy and bouncier. The matching shampoo is very good, but the conditioner just finishes my hair perfectly. I am looking forward to continue using this and hoping my hair goes from strength to strength.

Luxurious conditioning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner works in tandem with Loreal Elvive Sulphate Free Bond repair shampoo. It is what I would class a specialist shampoo for repair and ultra conditioning, so I wouldn't use it on a daily basis. When you do use it, it is a luxurious treat. You have to leave the conditioner on for about three minutes (Which is a drawback, because I don't like standing in the shower for so long waiting for the conditioner to take effect). However, the result is worth it. You get a very glossy shine and the ends are light and soft to the touch.

The fragrance is pleasant, it’s quite a thick product and a little seems to go a long way so don’t be tempted to use too much! My hair certainly feels nourished (dry ends especially) without too much weight (my hair long and fine) and definitely seems nice and shiny. Liked that it comes in a tube rather than a bottle and that it’s thick as I was able to squeeze out just a small amount (which is all I need!)

Actually Works!!

After using the pre-shampoo and shampoo, I applied the conditioner as part of the routine. The mixture was thick which I enjoyed as it made my hair feel well coated when applied. I opted to comb my hair whilst the conditioner was on which is what I normally do and noticed that there was considerably less hair left on my wet brush than with my regular conditioner (which is a super expensive hair dresser only conditioner). After rinsing, my hair was super soft and smelt divine. Would highly recommend this product!

Amazing salon results gives hair a smooth finish

My hair is very thick but it took less than usual conditioner to spread over my hair. It states to leave for 3 minutes and on rinsing I really felt the difference. It rinsed well and smells amazing in fact the fragrance lasts a long time smells very natural and high end. My hair was so soft and manageable and I was able to see real definition and no frizz in my waves. I am really pleased with the result and will buy again.

Product had a lovely texture with a really nice fragrance and smoothed onto hair well. I used after the shampoo from this range. I left the product on for roughly 5 minutes and after rinsing, the difference to my hair was amazing! My hair felt nourished, smooth and in really, really great condition. Repair your hair - not just a conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lovely conditioner is part of a team really. I am sure you could use it on its own but I used it following using the shampoo that is also Bond Repair. I love the really thick creamy consistency, which still spread over my hair with ease. This conditioner has 10% citric acid and has a mild clean scent. After rinsing off I left my hair to dry naturally and am delighted with the results. A lovely shine and feels so soft. Time will tell if it does make my hair stronger but so far so good.

Rebuild Hair from Within.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having first used the matching Bond Repair Shampoo I applied this conditioner and left it on for three minutes before rinsing. I then styled my hair as usual and was extremely pleased with the resulting shine. I had been sceptical that this new Bond Repair range would not benefit me due to my very short, pixie style hair cut. I was wrong, my hair felt both stronger and more moisturised than before. I'm looking forward to seeing how much more I see when used regularly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start with the end results because they are AMAZING. Hair was genuinely noticeably softer, shinier and felt stronger. I’m starting to experience some thinning of hair and increased breakage so I’m excited to see the long term affects of this. Smells gorgeous and felt like I’d been at the salon.
This product is so thick I wasn’t sure at first how much to use, it’s more like a mask texture. My hair is really dry, bleached and when I wash it it gets particularly dry. On application I wasn’t sure this was going to work as well for me, I didn’t feel that immediate detangling effect that I need as my hair gets so tangled, maybe because the texture is different? I left it on for the allocated time though and when I rinsed it off it was no longer tangled.
When brushing wet hair it was easy to brush and felt nourished.

Brilliant Bond Repair Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a brilliant conditioner, with amazing repairing properties. My hair is very dry, frizzy and damaged from bleaching and heat tools. It really did make my hair softer and shinier. It has a nice pleasant fragrance, you don't have to use too much and it doesn't make your hair feel and look greasy. It feels like a premium product at a reasonable price and I'm currently using the whole range together. I look forward to seeing how my hair improves in the long run.

Amazing results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My coloured hair is damaged, dry and without a life, but since I started using this conditioner (along with the shampoo) my hair is looking healthy, soft and full of life. The texture is very thick almost like it's a hair mask, but it is easy to apply and washed off easily. It has a lovely smell, but not too strong. I love how my hair feels, light and smooth, and no more tangles. Best conditioner I used and would recommend giving it a go if you have a damaged hair.

I tested the 4 products in the range together and that is an excellent hair care routine. I also tested them individually to make a good opinion on each product (and also because of the overall cost of the 4 products if I was to buy them, I wanted to assess if one or 2 was enough for me). And personally I felt that L’Oréal Paris Elvive Bond Repair conditioner is excellent. I swim a fair bit in the ocean and swimming pool, so my hair is dry, frizzy and always have knots. The conditioner has a great creamy texture and I didn’t feel I needed to use too much. I then combed my hair with the conditioner still on, and it felt easier than usual to detangle my hair. Afterwards my hair felt really smooth and hydrated. It’s hard to tell after a couple of weeks If my hair is stronger but it definitely looks healthier, and it’s so much softer.

Softer, stronger, the appearance of longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just when I thought Elvive couldn't get any better, another product is launched and I love, love, love. For a start, it smells amazing, easy to apply and the right consistency, but it is the feel and appearance of the end results that is the 'wow' factor. My hair is long, curly, prone to frizz and crispy on the ends, which then curl up eve more.However, my hair was soft, silky, strong and looked longer as the crispiness was gone and healthiness restored.

Silky, manageable and easy to comb through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only managed to use this once between it arriving and the request to review, but it certainly seems to have strengthened my quite thin hair, and it feels sleek, silky and it was very easy to comb through after washing. Probably too early to see results on split ends, or after swimming, but it’s a lovely product to use, and I have high hopes for the repairing process. Very pleased to be able to sample this new addition to the l’Oreal range.

A hydrating and smoothing conditioner

This conditioner works really well to smooth and hydrate the hair. I frequently swim in the ocean and chlorinated water, so my hair is quite susceptible to damage. I did find I had to use quite a lot of the product to penetrate through to the ends - it has a thinner texture than most other conditioners. However, I noticed my hair detangled very easily after using the conditioner, and seems a lot stronger and healthier since using it regularly.

L'Oréal bond repair conditioner step 3

I expected it to feel like every other conditioner I have used through my hair with that immediate silky feeling but I didn't feel that. However I wasn't concerned because I knew there was still the serum in the next stage. When I rinsed my hair it smelt good and felt like some repair had been done which lives up to the whole point of the product. I wouldn't say my hair was shinier at this stage, although there is another step involved.

I bleached my hair quite alot and it is really damaged atm, I've used olaplex and all kinds of products that are meant to be restoring damaged hair and nothing seemed to make my hair normal again but this actually felt moisturised even when it was wet. Can't wait to use the rest of the products in this range altogether to see even more improvement.

Brilliant Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An extremely lightweight conditioner, I massaged the formula about halfway down my hair shaft to my ends. I left it in for three minutes (to fully let my hair absorb it) and then washed it out. The end result is amazing strong silky hair. I would absolutely recommend switching to this duo, best used with the bond shampoo if you are struggling with frizz and need something to help repair and fortify your hair from root to tip.

Fantastic product, the tube is small(ish) but you really do not need a lot so it’ll last well! Only used on my hairs ends of course and it was noticeably smoother, like creamy smooth if that makes sense haha I actually have to stop myself running my fingers through it during the day haha
I’m not sure if 2 weeks is enough to show huge repair improvements but I’m definitely happy with results so far.
I’d definitely buy it.
